Small But Mighty

Small But Mighty

This tour features our favourite small batch wineries that produce some mighty good wines. Experience the best on this small winery tour.

Leaning Post Wines

After many years as a Niagara winemaker, Ilya Senchuk and wife Nadia followed their dream to produce world-class, terroir-driven wines from unique plots of land across Niagara. Housed in a restored 1850s barn, Leaning Post epitomizes small-scale, artisanal winemaking that focuses on Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah.

Locust Lane Estate Winery

Locust Lane Estate Winery produces distinctive wines that reveal a sense of place. Boasting unobstructed views of the rolling vineyards that descend toward Lake Ontario and beyond to the Toronto skyline in the distance, Locust Lane offers an unspoiled natural setting that feels a world away from the rush of the 21st century. Winemaker Jeff Innes has spent more than 20 years refining his approach to winemaking, to create elegant and balanced wines that honour their local environment.

Guests will enjoy a wonderful cheese tasting to compliment the Locust Lane wines.

KEW Vineyards Estate Winery

Welcome to Kew Vineyards, the hidden gem of Niagara’s wine country history. A true Grande Dame of vineyards, her original 1975 plantings are among the oldest in the region, guiding winemaker Philip Dowell in producing exquisite terroir driven wines.

Villa Romana Estate Winery

Villa Romana Estate Winery is a small, family-run winery located on the Beamsville Bench sub-appellation, in the Niagara Peninsula. Dedicated to producing high-quality wines from their small-lot vineyards and ageing them to perfection, Villa Romana is the perfect place to finish your tour with us!
