Savoury Flights & Bites

Savoury Flights & Bites

This tour is perfect for folks who are looking to taste the great wines of Niagara's Benchlands.

Flat Rock Cellars

Since opening in 2005, Ed Madronich has injected fun and enthusiasm into both the wine and the winery experience. The five-level gravity-fed winery sits atop the escarpment with an incredible 360° view of the vineyards, Lake Ontario and the Toronto Skyline. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, made by Allison Findlay, are the winery’s focus but the Rieslings, especially Nadja’s Vineyard, are consistently recognized among Canada’s best.

Step backstage and gain some insight into the vineyard and cellar operations of Flat Rock Cellars. You’ll enjoy their signature wines in 3 distinct locations around our property, all while being led by a knowledgeable staff member.

2027 Cellars

2027 Cellars was started in 2007 by winemaker Kevin Panagapka and his wife Jodie. Named after the grower number allotted for the vineyard, this winery, based out of Calamus Estate Winery, focuses on terroir-driven, single-vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc from the Niagara Escarpment. The focus on ‘Terroir’ and the individuality of every single vineyard creates wines with a sense of place, quality and personality.

180 Estates

180 Estate Winery is one of the smallest wineries in Ontario located close to the Jordan Village. Focusing on high quality, small batch wines, they employ sustainable viticulture practices that allow the wines to express the full potential of their unique terroir.

Taste 4 unique wines while sitting on the patio surrounded by beautiful views of the vineyard enjoying a lovely cheese charcuterie.

Kacaba Vineyards Winery

In 1997, Michael Kacaba launched Kacaba Vineyards, saving prime Benchland from a developer’s bulldozer. Today, Michael and his team craft a full range of wines, including their highly awarded estate-grown Syrah (Ontario’s oldest plantings). With a view across Lake Ontario to Toronto, guests will sample wines with multiple awards from Canadian & International competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards (UK).
