Balls Falls Conservation
Ball’s Falls Conservation Area is a beautiful place to go for a day hike in the Niagara Region that also has plenty of amazing surprises. Did you know that there’s not one, but two waterfalls? How about that the region is a ghost town, formerly known as Glen Elgin, established by the Ball family for which the conservation area and waterfalls are named?
This preserved park, operated by the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, offers beautiful natural scenes, hiking trails, and a history lesson all in one memorable place

The Watering Can
The Watering Can is a joint florist & pastry shop located in the heart of Niagara's wine country that has a heavy European influence and a flare for creativity. They offer hand-tied bouquets, planters, and Euros (European arrangements) as well as much more. Designed as a flower market, The Watering Can asks that the customer participates as much as he or she desires, by picking their own arrangements or having something custom made.
They also invite our customers to test their design skills with our wide array of workshops, or take some time to enjoy their cafe which features house-made drinks, pastries and lunches. Truly a one of the kind for the Niagara Region.
Upper Canada Cheese Company
Do you wish to savour handcrafted cheese in wonderful flavours? Then be sure to drop in at Upper Canada Cheese Company located at Jordan Station, Lincoln, a heaven for cheese lovers. It is the only creamery in Canada to produce all their cows’ milk cheese products from Guernsey cows.
The artisanal cheeses at the shop are created using the milk of these cows bred at the Comfort Farm, located a short distance from the shop.
Mingle Hill Farms
Located at our farm on the Beamsville Escarpment, the Mingle Hill Marketplace features certified organic products, vegetables, and essential oils. Their small batch products are handcrafted or grown with love, right here on the farm.
All of their produce is grown with organic seed, using mushroom compost, and is free of herbicides and pesticides.
Fort George Historic Site
Overlooking the Niagara River, Fort George was built between 1796 and 1802. This fortification served as the headquarters for the Centre Division of the British Army during the War of 1812, and played a pivotal role in the defence of Upper Canada. Fort George saw action during the Battle of Queenston Heights, was destroyed and captured by the Americans during the Battle of Fort George, and was reclaimed by the British seven months later.
